This simulation shows the flow field in a non-premixed combustor (a burner).
Air enters through the swirling vanes on the left and additional inlets on the sides.
Fuel enters from a nozzle centered just behind the vanes.
The first movie shows the flame, as visualized by means of the reaction rate.
The second movie shows a strongly swirling vortex developing in the center of the combustor.
